Some of us have a view that our situation is as it is today because we did not follow the greatness of our great personalities. Some find us responsible. Some find that nothing is wrong today, and more than bad we have good. I do not disagree with any of them. And because so much is already said I don't have much to add, thus I decide to analyze the answers, rather than repeat what is already said.

I think Mr. Tom Hanks, Ms. Sharmili, Mr. Allunga, Mr. Mildpace, Mr. Ramajeyam, Ms. Ap have kept their points very well. And I want to add something to that.

Let me start with Ms. Ap. The morality of no nation goes down, its the individual who reside in the nation, that do good or bad. And here the problem is such that, though our nation has billion plus people, you will hardly find anyone who can say that I am not corrupt. Corruption is not only what we see in newspapers. When someone goes to registrar's office for Birth registration and pay Rs. 100 for fast processing without any accounts that is also corruption, when someone is stopped for traffic violation and pays Rs 50 for traffic to traffic constable to escape that is also corruption, when someone goes to a shop and purchases grocery without sales receipt that is also corruption. Let me tell you another thing, these very few individuals, like Madu Koda, A Raja, Ketan Desai, Narsimha Rao, George Fernandiz, etc, if you count you may be able to count, but remember, these not just the individuals, but these represent Indian society, thus it is very very shameful for us that we elected them or our government appointed them.

Similarly, you are absolutely correct, Alagiri, is just one of minority of people who are lazy but majority of people are very hard who work day and night to get their daily bread. Thus such people have not right to represent such hard working people. Agree?

No offense please, this was just my personal view.

I do find lot of similarities between Mr. Ramajeyam's answer and Mr. Tom's answer. Thus I will jump to Mr. Tom's answer, as that would include Mr. Ramajeyam's answer too.

Mr. Tom thinks that India made a mistake by punishing assassins of Mr. Gandhi, I don't necessarily agree with his view. May be he has read too much of Gandhian philosophy. But I don't think Gandhi ever said that law must should not do its job, but I do agree with Mr. Tom, the riots against Maharashtrian Bramhin post Gandhi Murder were black mark on India and Gandhi itself.

I am also in total agreement with his answer that unless with have free and fair justice system and decision is given in fair amount of time, we cannot stop corruptions, we cannot stop crime in India.

Now coming to Ms. Sharmili. I always like reading her answers. And as usual her answer is very best.

I would like to answer her one question. "Regarding ketan desai, how can he got braveness to swindle the money in the name of bribe ? who gave him the power ?"

He got braveness from our broken system, and he got power from the fact that he knew that even if he is caught, nothing will happen for next 10-20 years, and by then everyone will forget, and he will escape by bribing the various parties, right from the law enforcement agencies to government agencies.

There is no easy way to explain this, but I hope this helps. India is both - a punya bhoomi & a karma bhoomi. A punya bhoomi because of its varied heritage , cultural diversity & tolerance. You will not find so many religions, languages etc. co- existing in harmony anywhere else. India is also the land of great people like Vivekananda & Gandhiji. Karma bhoomi is a land where you discharge your duties. Hence, people doing their rightful duties in India, can call her their Karma bhoomi.

Because you say as punya bhoomi, gandhi desam, etc.,i am interested to participate. what you said about our seers, gurus, rishis were excellent and also what you say about bhagawat gita which shows us, tells us the way of life. But, where is the morality now ? what is the reason for not finding a morality in administration as well as in politics ? This is deep subject. i say there is no leader now like jawaharlal nehru, mahatma gandhi, vallabhai patel, kamaraj, rajaji etc., The political leaders should know the pulse of the people. They are not interested in knowing people's pulse, but they are interested in people's purse. The great leaders i said were the leaders who always thought of people's welfare, country, country's progress. But, now a days leaders are interested only in the welfare of their own family, and interested to bring their family members to the public life though they have no ability because of the leader's personal influence only made them to come to the public life. How can they show interest ?

Regarding ketan desai, how can he got braveness to swindle the money in the name of bribe ? who gave him the power ? we receive shocking news about him since he have crores and crores of money besides gold bars. The only reason that the politicians are not behaving like a politician and they changed the politics into commercial establishments. why mahatmaji did not do these illegal acts ? A million dollor question. is it not ? Because mahatmaji was a leader to the people, a guide, a god, a scripture and not a family leader. why kamaraj only got a sum of Rs.120/- when he died ? Because he respected the people and not the money or properties.

yes, we can proud for having Adi shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, madhvachary, Azhwars, nayanmars, naalvar, Ramakrishna paramahams, vivekananda, ramana maharishi, caitanya, chandrasekara saraswathi sankaracharya swamigal and many many great saints teached us many lessons. we have great epics how krishna established dharma, how rama showed dharma, we are lucky for having Bhagawat Gita which tells way of life, and also we are also lucky for having mahatma gandhi. He showed everything useful to our life. He teached the meaning to the word sacrifice. But, no one follows the above great people.

People in india expect some one to go and fix the country, and its ailments. Not far ago in time, india has kings and emporers. Indians went on with their life and had little to do with governance.

Indians are probably still in those days. Now, the leaders take responsibility but will only cheat Indians, however, people keep hoping and worshipping leaders and family politics, and wish they solve all the problems.

This is not going to happen now. People need to take interest in what is going around them. People should take responsibility. There should be collective decisions. Until then, India will suffer.

This huge amount has been appropriated from the people of India by exploiting and betraying them. Once this huge amount of black money and property comes back to India , the entire foreign debt can be repaid in 24 hours. If this surplus amount is invested in earning interest, the amount of interest will be more than the annual budget of the Central government.. So even if all the taxes are abolished, then also the Central government will be able to maintain the country very comfortably.

It all started nicely thousands of years ago with being a moral 'punya bhoomi' but ended up in becoming an immoral 'gandhi desam'; how ? mohandoss started all falsehood in connivance with jawaharlal, to dupe indian masses for votes and strangulating political power , as though indira, rajiv,sanjay, sonia,maneka, rahul, priyanka,varun....etc., are 'ghandis', while the fact one of the parents of was jawaharlal was a moslem and which is the reason for jawaharlal allowing his daughter to marry a muslim 'feroz khan ghandy'! mohandoos duped indian masses by projecting his hindu 'gandhi' as moslim 'ghandy' ; still Indian National Corruption/Conspirators (INC) party in the name of UPA and Co.,is duping the masses.Under their control, all their agents in state and central governments, politics,bureaucracy,judiciary,industry,investigating agencies like Congress Bureau of Investigation (CBI), business, terrorism, maoism,naxalism,constitutional and extra-constitutional authorities like planning commission, RBI etc., will dupe, cheat and swindle to reach swiss bank accounts.

lalit modi,ketan desai are just two three people...they cannot represent the people that is india..and they do not tell us much about india..for every ketan desai who stole i can give you names of millions of people who shared even their last crumb of bread...for every lazy alagiri i can tell you th names of millions of people who work in the hot sun all their lives...we as a people are still the people of gandhi,we are still the people of ramakrishna paramahamsa.
