Does anyone else feel bad for bashing the police, the people that put their lives on the line for us?

I would like to offer my apologies to any police officer I may have offended with my rantings on this website. I have not been asked to do this, I offer this by my own free will. I had a bad experience with the police about one year ago, and I stupidly lumped all the other wonderful law abiding police officers out there. I am sorry. I have much respect for law inforcement, and have always had respect up until as I said about one year ago. I am going to let that go finally. Again, Please accept my humble apology for my outlandish rantings. They were immature, and certainly unwarranted. Does anyone else out there feel the same way I do? Let' just respect our police force and let the great men and women out there protect and serve.

Update:

*sorry, I spelled "enforcement" incorrectly.

Update 2:

Yes Sheri, that's what has happened to me (similar anyway) but I lumped all police officers in that same category of the other (the bad) ones. It was wrong of me. Most police officers a wonderful people, and I just feel really bad for having "slammed" them on this site for the past few months. I will never do it again. I have nothing but respect for them.

Ya know, this is how I see it. Some cops are genuinely good cops. And some cops aren't. I have a friend who is a cop, and the reason I like him is he doesn't try to find something to get someone in trouble. He doesn't just dig and dig until he finds something. There are cops that do.

My friend and I were heading about 5 blocks from my house to another friends house 1 day and we got pulled over for a tail light or something. We were doing NOTHING wrong and were both harassed for a good hr and a half. I can't stand those kind of cops!

Nope, not one bit. Most of the cops I know became cops because they like to push people around, not because they have any overriding interest in helping people. They knew the risks when they took the job and just because they wear a badge and a gun it doesn't automatically make them a superior form of human life the way most of them seem to believe.
