The book Night Of Power has an answer the book is by Spider Robinson.

If I am correct Stokely was said to be a Black Panther a self defence group thought to be revolutionary but I think not quite goal.

Another point is that The National Security Act was another guise for racism which enabled a nation wide terror campaign against black citizens and stopped social equality.

In addition black U.N. troops were possible for rights protection.

Today a new nation called Equity could be formed if the situation does not improve.

An intresting point is that many whites would prefer in 1960's socialism non classist system and join with black Americans and use U.N. Charter to do so plus constitution.

It seems security found in socialism but not seen by Conservatives.

In addition the American Indian Movement and the Internationale could have been a factor.

The idea of all U.S.A and world together in struggle against opression.
