    You could try the Yahoo People Search. Here is a link to it:

    I only know of one way and that is if you know their avatar/nickname. Go into Yahoo search, type the avatar/nickname plus Yahoo Answers. This brings up that persons profile and you can see if they accept IM or Emails to contact them.
