Why do I find my Answers in strange blog sites?
http://credit-cards-for-people-with-no-credit.com/...
Not just mine... but also those of my contacts and other people that are known to give excellent answers on Yahoo Answers.
Thanks Shelby and Rudy.
I went and read up on it and now feel somewhat better. At least most of them were legit sites that had permission from Yahoo. Just kinda scary when you see yourself as a "member" of a blog site you never knew existed.

There are several sites that actually have Yahoo!s permission to use your content.
In fact there are Advertisers that have direct links to Y!A from their own sites (Ford of Canada, Honda, and ... one Bank that I cant think of the name at the moment)
Example :
http://www.ford.ca/app/fo/en/answercentre.do

The one that you posted here doesn't cite Yahoo! as their source and doesn't use a Y!A logo nor does it say "Powered by Yahoo!"
They are just scraping the site and that is against Y!'s rules.
I'm not sure that Y! does anything about this, but You should report it to the Yahoo! Answers Team via email
y_answrs_team@yahoo.com (no "e" is correct)
Or you can also post it at the Y!A suggestion board.

No, we are not selling our content nor are we "allowing" these sites to take the content. There are many sites out there that "scrape" us, and it's against our terms of service.

Isn't there a new thing that Yahoo Answers implemented a few months ago where you could *share* your answers on sites other than Yahoo? I opted out of it, but that is the only thing I can think of.

I would guess that they are lazy bloggers that have ran out of things to write about and so they raid Yahoo answers.
