How to go about buying land in the Hill Country?

My husband and I live in DFW and would like to purchase 5acres in the Hill Country. I know the Hill Country encompasses several cities so bare with me. How would we go about finding a realestate agent in the area? I already tried googling it but none of the realtors had critiques and would appreciate insider help.

First of all, plan on spending a ton of money. Not a lot...a TON. The Hill Country has become wildly popular, and those good folks up there know it, and they're laughing all the way to the bank.

Secondly, if you're looking for five acre tracts, they're likely to be found in gated subdivisions with pretty tight restrictions, or in backwoods areas with NO restrictions (mobile homes and junk cars). The likelihood of finding a friendly farmer who will lop off a corner of his pasture to sell you is slim to none.

Third, Google real estate agents in the following areas: Boerne, Comfort, Bandera, Fredericksburg (a TON of money), Blanco and Kerrville. These areas are in the "hilly-est" parts of the Hill Country. Century 21 real estate agents in these areas tend to be pretty reliable. You can also check out Trulia.com and enter any of these town names. There are, of course, lots of other towns in the Hill Country, but these seem to be the most popular. Good luck!

i don't understand what 'visitors' are. Are they like Gypsies? Whoever they're in the event that they actually own the land and have superior it in accordance to the regulation i don't think of that's honest to take their belongings for a scenic easement. i'm in the U. S., which final I heard develop into meant to be a loose united states. a pair of years in the past they took someones land to construct a procuring mall on. The courtroom stated it develop into 'in the commonplace public pastime'. i think there are diverse stages of 'loose'. genuine? hello, isn't that the reason Robin Hood trekked off into Sherwood Forrest. wager situations have not replaced plenty.
