Teens Only: What books have you read that you loved and wanted more?

Only teen novel-wise? The only teen book that I can really relate this to right now is The Hunger Game trilogy. I'm sucked into the need-to-survive plot line and I feel like I can relate to Katniss on many different platforms of her experience. Also the characters are colorful and richly described as well as the contrasting Capitol and districts. I suppose I'm anxious about who will survive as well...

Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes: It is extremely intellectual and I found myself never being able to put the book down. The ending was very upsetting to me, not because it sucked, but because it was sad enough to make me cry. I found myself thinking that no matter how long the book was I would never be able to put it down.

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger: Lovely,lovely book. Couldn't get enough. I felt it could've gone on for longer, but the ending was very satisfying. I skimmed through it a few days ago and found myself laughing my a** off when it was meant to be humorous. It was Salinger's magnum opus and well deserved to be. Awesome as hell book from an awesome as hell author.

Without thinking about it, I would definitely say Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev. The best part is that there IS more- the sequel Perchance to Dream comes out later this month! AND it's a trilogy, so there will be one more book after that!
