okays here's a question that everyone must answer. (plz and tks)?

What exercise should I do to get rid of excess belly fat and love handle fat? I gained 20 lbs since I graduated high school and I wanna lose my fat dang it! helpsies me!

Yes, I am aware what section I'm posting this in.

Update:

I have been doing cardio, but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe I have FAT tap worms in me.

    well you cant really target fat loss buttttttttt....

    1. run some, the most fat you burn is in the first 2 to 3 miles (your body plateaus after this)

    2. eat right - this is the hardest part (diets are lame, just stick to the common sense fruit and veggies with modest amounts of lean meat and a little red meat)

    3. leg lifts - just lay down and lift your legs using your core

    4. the basic crunch

    5. V-ups

    6. planks - stabilize your core for about a minute then roll to your side and do that for a minute take a minute break and repeat 3X

    7. go swimming and do dolphin kick - i am a swimmer and a large part of swimming is your core, lots of flyers have crazy abs because if done correctly, dolphin kick tones your abs like none other

    8. twisting crunches - bring elbow up to knee

    9. side crunches - lay your legs over to one side

    10. just twist from side to side to work your obliques

    11. when you run do interval training you burn more fat and calories by running fast for 30 sec. then slowly jogging or walking for 30 sec than straight running

    12. people say cut out the carbs....if you feel the need to cut carbs only cut out a little (remember they give you energy), eat nutrient dense carbs meaning carbs with the most nutrients per actual carb....basically fruit, fruit, fruit.

    13. eat a wide variety of healthy food, you wont get as bored with eating right and eating more complete meals will help focus on all nutrients because if you eat too much of one nutrient it goes to fat because the body doesnt need it so it gets stored.

    14. try not to eat anything unhealthy after 8-9pm at night...your body starts to get tired and doesnt want to bother to burn the cals.

    ps. eat a lot of fruit with citric acid, it helps burn a little fat off on its own and makes you feel more full so you eat less. i am big on oranges, straight lemons, and pineapple, and eat more natural....try buying more straight up fruit instead of the canned stuff (eating right is in my opinion, the hardest part to losing weight, but make sure when you eat healthy to eat a lot of healthyness, your body breaks down and uses nutrients from veg. and fruit so quickly that you need to refuel if doing exercise so pack apples and strawberries as a snack or something but your metabolism gets sped up by doing this so happy flab loss)

    Don't worry so much about the exercise until you lose 10 lbs. That should be your first focus. Cut out the carbs, drink more water and those lbs will come off right away. Then move onto the exercises for toning. Exercise number 1: walk, walk and walk. The rest is up to you, there's lots of info around on what exercises you should be doing to target the areas you want to.

    The side bend is good for love handles, you just bend your knees a little and move your upper body to the right side then back to the center and then to the left side and keep going.

    The torso twist is also good for love handles.

    The side crunch is good for belly fat.

    Screw excersises, just watch what you eat. If you feel you MUST work that body then try dancing for at least an hr a day. Worked with my mom and sister.

    id say do some good rigorous bike riding. sit ups and things like that really dont help. overall cardio is the way to go.

    Short of swimming in shark infested waters, there isn't much you can do except cut calories and increase cardio.

    My therapist told me to put my hand under my back and press down on it, while raising my legs and /or feet. It is suppose to help strengthen the tummy muscles.

    I would say he pretty much likes you if he is asking you out and coming to your house and standing on the step talking to you for an hour everyday!
