Can I grow more than one type of pepper plant in one topsy turvey planter?

I purchased the topsy turvey planter for hot peppers recently. Can I plant more than one type of pepper plant in the same planter?

Not if you want to keep them from blending. Peppers in close range tend to cross-pollinate, so unless you want your peppers to come out as crosses, stick to one kind.

Sure as long as there is food for all. They will cross-polinate however so the heat and flavor will be a blend.
