Can I bring a leather drum home from Nepal?

I want to buy a drum in Nepal and bring it home but I am unsure of the rules at customs. It is not an antique but it is made from leather. Please let me know what the rules are and where to find the information. My internet is limited in Nepal so I am having a hard time finding the info myself. thanks

You will have to get a certificate from the export office situated at Exhibition Road.

as long as it's not living (plants, animals) or full of dope, no one will care about it.
