What Should I Have With Mughlai Chicken?
It's my first time to cook Indian food, Mughlai Chicken, by following Nigella Lawson's recipe.
If I don't want to have it with Rice Pilaf, what else should I have?
Thank you.
PS. I love vegetables :)

The chicken, in all honesty is supposed to be served with Indian bread.
You get readymade Indian breads, like NAAN BREAD. The best brand to buy is DEEP. Or you could buy parantha/tandoori roti/onion kulcha of the same brand.
You could just eat it with steamed rice too, or any kind of rice....even, brown, if you want it healthy.
Just a tip, as you are making Indian chk for the first time, if you find the spices too much for you, just mix some cream in the chicken. If you want less fat, add a few tbs of milk.
You could also, just eat it with regular bread.
Veggies to go with chicken:
1. You could dice potatoes with their skins, in a glass bowl. You could throw in 1 1/2 tsp of oil, and some of the spices you used for the chicken. Just salt and pepper would also do.
Cover and cook in microwave for 8 minutes, tossing it once, when its half done.
2. You could steam some mixed veggies, cauliflower florets, peas and carrots, sprinkle them with salt, pepper and very little lemon juice.
3. If you want it EXOTIC,
you could make some baby eggplants.
Take a wok. Heat some oil in it.
Take 5-6 egplants, cut them so that the "top" remains intact, making 4 long slits lengthwise. Rub them with salt and pepper.
Shallow fry them in the wok. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
I hoep you enjoy your meal!

Make the gravy thick and have it with butter roti or butter naan. Plain roti or plain naan too is good.
