What's up with Montreal's nightlife?
I'm a Mexican guy and i`m probably going to McGill University in Montreal next year. Do McGill students normally go out to clubs on the weekends or are they more house party guys? Is Montreal's clubbing scene any good? What are the best clubs?

McGill students definitely go out to bars and pubs. The drinking age is 18, so compared to the rest of Canadian students (with drinking age at 19, except for Alberta), they get to start drinking in bars earlier. But there are still the typical resident parties for first years, alongside bar-hopping.
Montreal is known as the party city of Canada, but it's still super classy and nice. A lot of people from Ontario and Atlantic Canada visit Montreal just for its bars.
Don't know the specifics of what bars are the best. McGill is downtown though, so you'll figure out which ones are the best quickly.
