Just gave my puppy a bad treat?

We have given our dogs those Purina Busy Bones about once a week as a treat. My big Shep mix gets one of the jumbo ones and my min schnauzer gets a small one. We have an almost 5 month old amstaff and I picked him up mini busy bones today and gave him one for the crate. Now about an hour later I read the back and it said do not give to dogs under 1 year. ???

He is sleeping, acting fine. What can happen? Should I call the vet?

Think it's more because of a chocking hazard, little ones te to scarf things whole. If all looks well- it usually is. listen for crying, gagging, or other uncharacteristic noises...should be fine. Chocolate and pork is a different story all together.

    1) relax, watch his behavior and keep a phone around

    2) they usually say that on the back simply because a small dog may choke on one or not digest is well, so be prepared for the worst such as throw up or diarrhea

3)the pup is probably fine just dont pick it up too much
