Getting My Nose Pierced In 2 Days, Pain?

Ok so I've already made the appointment to have it pierced. And truthfully I'm not that scared. I mean, I'm a little nervous... but I'm not like "OMG IT'S GONNA HURT SO BAD OH NOESSS!!!" I'm just wondering the difference in pain. I've had my earlobes pierced when I was 7, that didn't hurt at all. Barely even felt it. I got my ear cartilage pierced (with a gun, I know.. at the time I was very uneducated on piercings) a year ago and only had it for 4 weeks before it got infected and removed. Having the cartilage pierced wasn't that bad, but it was slightly painful.. Tolerable though. How will the nostril compare? Worse, less or about the same as the Helix area of the Ear Cartilage? And do you have any advice on getting my nose pierced for the first time? And I'm 14.

    I have 5 piercings.

Naval, Nose, 2 on one lobe, and 1 on the other.

I honestly thought that my nose hurt so much worse than the rest.

I got it done like a month ago and I'm still afraid to take it out.

I'm not trying to make a big deal of it or try to talk you out of it.

I want 8 more piercings on my ears lol.

But yes it does hurt about a 7 or 8 on 1-10 scale.

I've had my earlobes, tragus, helix and nose pierced (my cartilage piercings were all with a needle, so I don't know if it differs much from a gun)..however, if you're getting you're nose pierced with a needle it should only be a slight stinging and your eyes might water a bit. Honestly, you don't have anything to worry about, particularly since you've already had cartilage piercings :D Good luck xx

If you can get your ear cartilage peirced then you can get anything peirced. I've also gotten both pierced and from experience I would say that neither one hurt. The only thing I didn't like was my eye watering.

It hurts but its really not bad at all- about the same. My biggest advice is to make sure you have good quality towel for when you wash your face, otherwise loose fibers can catch in the stud, prolonging pain and healing.

Oh and hold still when they pierce you! =p

Mine didn't hurt at all and I didn't get it done professionally. I did it with a ear piercing kit. And I also have my belly button, eyebrow and tongue pierced and no of them hurt. My belly button is my only Professional piercing. My tongue my friend did and that is not the brightest idea. From experience get all yours done Professional.

It's actually more painful then the cartlidge peircing. It's your nose, trust me it will hurt.

Its depends on what kind of pain threshold you have. How do you handle pain ? Think about it that way.
