Why is Telemundo covering all the Mexican soccer games this year?

I have nothing against the announcers on this channel except that their voices were not meant to be for sport narration. They are so annoying, especially when they say "gol" for a long time. I liked it better when they were on Univision and Telefutura. While I'm at it I also get so annoyed that Telemundo shows the score for a few seconds every so often.

well i live in north carolina and my dad has the sky from mexico set up in our house some how and we also have direct tv but we use sky for the mexico games

Univision, Telefutura, and Galavision will show the World Cup 2010 atleast.

Telemundo bought the rights to Mexico's games *excluding the WC* along with some FMF clubs (Atlante, Chivas, Toluca, Pumas and I don't what other clubs) and reason why Univision sold them the rights was because of the economic crisis, I don't like it that much either so your not alone.

they cover the games leading up to the World Cup, univision cover the WC games and all other major international tournaments.

yea i know right; i only watch their channel if no other network is broadcasting the game. Until then, they are just doing their job, but i don't like how they announce.
