I have a friend who is renting to someone on section 8,?

The person that they are renting to has not paid his rent in several months & they have had them served with (2) eviction notices & the person is still there. How can they get them out?

They need to follow through with the evictions, they could have had them out weeks ago.

First thing to remember is any notices served to the tenant must also be forwarded to Sec 8,, Since an eviction will most likely result in loss of their subsidy---I would contact their caseworker..In most instances---the caseworker will come down on the tenant for non-compliance and order will be restored...Be sure their are no repair issues that the tenant can use as an excuse for non-payment..Section 8 tenants faced with eviction are often handed free Lawyers and Judges tread lightly because it is more then an eviction---it is disqualification from the program----so be sure every i is dotted and t is crossed to avoid the case being dismissed for a technical matter and having to start over again.

They need to contact the case workers through section 8. Section 8 may stop their assistance all together and help in the eviction process.

You take these clowns to small claims court and file an actual eviction action. Simply giving them an 'eviction notice' doesn't cut it. Court action DOES work. If they do not leave as indicated by the court, you can have them forcibly and physically evicted by the local authorities.
