First I'm not a "chopper" guy but I've restores enough bikes back to stock that I know how to build one.

Building a chopper on a budget no cut bolt on.

Front end:You'll need to get a wide glide front end 10" over stock with a set of 10 degree raked trees and a set of baby ape hangers This will give you the Easyrider look.

Next you get a sissy bar for a Sportster with arched fender struts and a King and Queen seat.

Fuel tank: Get a high mount axed Mustang tank and paint it.

This stuff is all bolt on and you can find it used cheap on ebay.Don't sell your old parts in case you want to restore the bike to stock

You don't "stretch" the forks, you just replace your fork tubes with longer ones.

This will raise the front of your bike.

To level it back out, you have to "rake" the front end. This involves cutting, bending and welding your steering neck. DO NOT EVEN THINK OF DOING THIS YOURSELF UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!
