Is the Elena Kagen blunder Obama's signal that he should resign?

Yahoo news just reported: ""Legal scholars, such as Jonathan Entin, professor of law and political science at Case Western University, rejects the biting criticism directed at Obama that because Kagan isn't a sitting judge, it means she's not qualified.""

My friends think Obama is incompetent and should resign. Don't you think they are harsh? In my opinion, Obama has only messed up in four areas:

1) Economy

2) Jobs

3) Changing the pullout of troops

4) National debt

I think Elena Kagan was a mistake, but people are challenging it, so she may never take office. Obama also said he was concerned about the budget. I don't think it's time for Obama to resign yet, do you?

No. She will be confirmed and life will go on. And your list of four things were all here before Obama.

I never wanted him to take the job in the first place. He doesn't care what the citizens in this country want or need. He's only interested in making history, whatever that means to our country. He's way too soft on national security. He'll never resign. He would have to be dragged out of office kicking and screaming, even if he lost an election.

America would be much better off if Obama resigned immediately. Although Biden is a clown, he could serve as a caretaker till the next election.

Funny we thought the same thing of Bush! All the things you listed started with him too except numbe 3 which was replaced by lieing about WMD!

Look at the history of the supreme court she isn't the first non sitting judge to be nominated!

So according to you, Legal scholars DO think that she's qualified, despite the fact that she isn't a sitting judge.William Rehnquist was also not a judge, and he was Chief Justice. Are you a legal scholar? No?

    1) Saved us from another Great Depression

    2) Would be bad no matter WHO was elected

    3) Want to keep our forces dying in Iraq? Let Iraq take care of itself, finally.

    4) Bush inherited surplus and could have continued paying off debt. HE blew it!

Kagan is a fine choice. The opposition is pro forma, to appeal to the GOP base. She will be confirmed with at least 63 votes.

No. Everything Obama has done so far has been 100% right and good. How DARE you question his competence, performance, smoking cigarettes or anything else???!!

No, Kagan is just another nominee in a string of nominees that underwhelm the vast majority of Americans.

I started asking for Obama's resignation the day he signed that stupid executive order closing GITMO.

How can he be the commander in chief if he doesn't understand the purpose a prisoner of war camp serves in a time of war?
