Would this kind of advertisment be allowed by law?

ISupose I am the HR manager of a company and I have to appoint some interns, according to my past experiance students from ABC Universty are simply good for nothing but the Universty is affilated from our Education Board.

So can I give an ad like

MBA Interns Wanted (except from uni ABC)

=================

would that be allowed by law?

    The Civil Rights laws protect us from discrimination in hiring based on age, race, religion, gender disability and, in some states, sexual orientation. It is unlikely your ad would technically be illegal; however, why would you put it in the ad? You'd be much better off spelling out the qualifications you are looking for and then evaluating each candidate on his or her individual merit.
