Which holy book (Bible or Qur'an) holds the higher revelation?

Jesus said: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Matthew 24:35.

In your opinion?

Why do you believe what you believe based on facts & history?

Update:

DrB- "Higher revelation" would be the fulfillment of prophecy. Which book contains more fulfillment of what the prophets said was to come?

Architec- History & facts would be: Does the Bible and Qur'an exist? What are their origins?

Rouge- False pens should leave a paper trail back to which scribe started writing falsely.

    Assalamualaikum (Peace be upon you)

No offence to you but I firmly believe that the Glorious Quran is the higher revelation as it has not been tampered with unlike the Bible.

To me, I read both Bible and Quran, but I only finished reading Quran.

To be honest, Bible is nothing compared to the Quran. I find the Quran to be a fascinating book to read and it is what made me respect Islam as religion and consider its principles.

For example, The Quran, most chapters contain stories that hold great wisdom and lessons to be acquired, take chapter Joseph{12} for a good example. Also, the Quran is more accurate concerning God and a a brief distribution of creation, like the Chapter The Beneficent {55}.

However, when you go to the Bible and read Genesis chapter 1 concerning the story of creation, you find it a bit funny, to be honest, it did sound funny when I read it. That is why I find the Quran to hold the higher revelation.

Based on facts & history - if I based my belief system on facts and history I would have been the first atheist there is but faith is beyond facts and editable history .

Since Faith description can not be contained or expressed through our futile language , my answer ends here.

The bible (inspired scripture came from God).

the quran came from Mohammad who borrowed from the bible.Mohammad is not mentioned or even hinted to be from God in the bible.
