Not really cuz the door hits the threshold (Door frame thing) and its hard to put a card through.

It depends on the lock, some will. Most likely older ones.

I think it depends on the lock. Like it wouldn't work on dead bolts. My neighbors got into their house that way when they locked their keys inside.
