process of getting married in maryland...court house?
I plan on getting married here in a couple months what are the steps I have to take to be legaly married...I am not having a wedding but I would like to know the process of getting married what do I do and what order do I do it?

Call the county clerk and ask. You and your intended have to get a license. The county clerk will perform the ceremony if you like - there may be a nominal fee.
Some states issue a one-day "Permit to wed" which lets anyone over the age of 18 perform a wedding on a given day. Your father, a favorite uncle, your mother, best friend . . . can do it, if Maryland has such a program. You can Google "Smiple marriage service" and find readings.
