NRL: Injury cruels Galloway's Origin chances again?

Keith Galloway has been struck down by a hand injury that he has apparently been carrying since round three. According to reports he will miss between 2 weeks and a month, but based on poor injury projections in the past, Keith could be out till at least Round 19.

This comes at a bad time, just like last year, when Galloway was slated as a sure Origin starter alongside Michael Weyman. With other up and coming props like Luke Douglas, Kade Snowden, Tim Mannah and Tim Grant starting to make a name for themselves, this comes at a bad time for Galloway who would be looking to establish himself as an Origin level prop for the next few years.

Do you think Galloway can be ready in time for Origin? If not, will he be able to maintain the form that has seen him named as an Origin Bolter from the City side two years running? Will the selectors be interested with a new crop of props popping up?

Yeah I found out on facebook, I'm crying on the inside :'( lol

This sucks so much for Keith. He is a great forward, and would do any team proud. Massive loss for both the Tigers and NSW. I reckon he will still be in contention if he is fit, and hopefully it doesn't cost him for the future, especially because the selectors are saying they want to show loyalty now. If the young blokes have a good one, Sauce will just have to work as hard, or harder than he has been to get in the squad.

ok, it is only who i might %., needless to say after around a million lots of it quite is consistent with popularity yet I even have some adult adult males i think of will destroy into the team on form. a million. B Stewart 2. J Hayne 3. M Cooper 4. M Jennings 5. J Monaghan 6. J Sutton 7. T Barrett 8. L Bailey 9. R Farrar 10. B Kite 11. P Gallen 12. N Hindmarsh 13. L O'Donnell 14. ok Gidley 15. W Mason 15. C Heighington 17. A.Laffranchi ok, my decision reasoning: lots of the forged fullbacks placed on maroon yet Stewart ought to have opposition from the likes of Patten and McKinnon. The wings are form of by employing default because of the fact i do no longer fee Quinn or Williams. Cooper speaks for himself and that i think of Michael Jennings is able to be a action picture star. i think a similar way approximately Sutton and picture a combination of him and Barrett will artwork, there are no longer that many high quality halfs approximately, i might probable have Wallace or Orford next. you like a platform up front why i might choose for a prop rotation of Kite/Bailey/Mason. you have Hindmarsh to be the artwork horse on D, the offload capability of Gallen and the all around interest of O'Donnell interior the backrow. i think of human beings ignore O'Donnell became into the incumbent Australian lock until now he have been given injured and that i might take him over the likes of Stewart and Hoffman. on the bench you have the flexibility of Gidley, Laffranchi's artwork fee after which my bolter Heighington who i think of is able to lift his interest to the subsequent point.

Galloway dead-set reminds me of another red head forward in Lance Thompson, Galloway is under-rated he works the hardest out of all the Tigers forwards and makes massive metres and alot of hitups which reminds me exactly of Thompson. Thompson was probably one of the best forwards to never play Origin and i hope the same doesn't happen to Galloway.

    Discrimination against red-heads?

    WTF why!

There are so many good props going he will definitely lose his spot again (I think)

Thats such bad luck he is such a strong consistent player for us. Its selfish but as long as he is fit and playing well for the Tigers I dont ming but I know making the step up can change players and he definitely deserves the chance (and the reward).

Hope they get onto his hand quick and he gets into SMASH mode

@Dragzy lol its a Ranga conspiracy they cant have 2 redheads on the field at once haha

Pardon my French, but SH*T! I would rather he not try to come back too soon and get healed up. But knowing him, he will probably try to play sooner than later. One of the most underrated players in the NRL. This kid deserves better.
