Should Handicappers Disregard Sidney's Candy and Line Of David Derby Performances For Preakness?

Does The Off Track at Kentucky Derby make performance lines of Sidney's Candy and Line Of David throw outs?

Update:

Thanks for the updates. It is quite correct the Preakness would appear to be a perfect track for runners favoring speed bias.

Yeh, they're throw-outs since they're not even running the Preakness.

NO Factor.....Since Line Of David and Sidney's Candy are not running in the Preakness, it makes no difference one way or another , they are not a factor in the Preakness simply because they are not running. You have to look at the horses that are competing against each other. The difference is WITHOUT these horses running, including Conveyance, and A Little Warm, the Preakness race will have no early pace scenario as in the Kentucky Derby. Conveyance, Sidney's Candy, and Line Of David including A little Warm were the primary speed horses and now are removed.. should make for an interesting race.

Yes, in that they're not running the race. Interestingly enough, their styles seemed suited for Pimlico, so it's too bad they're not running. I think that while Super Saver has a real good shot of taking the first two Triple Crown legs, the race is a lot more wide open than people think and there are a few real contenders.
