Are you superstitious about strange things?
Today I had to walk under a builders ladder to avoid getting run over but instantly did something I have not done since I was a child which was to cross the first two fingers on both hands until I saw a four-legged animal. My fingers ached like mad as it was ages before I finally saw a dog.I seem to remember also doing it if I saw an ambulance or a hearse.I have no idea why I ever did it at all.

Superstitions are silly and childish.
Walking under a ladder is "unlucky" because something may fall on you from above. It is as simple as that. My mother had 5 children and I being the oldest at 63, I can tell you that I alone have stepped on 10s of thousands of cracks in my lifetime and not once did her back break. This superstition can also be explained. Like if you step on a crack and trip you may just fall and break something which puts you in bed for a period of time. Thus your mother "breaks her back" to nurse you back to health.

All of my doors that face each other and lead out side are painted blue, I don't sweep under people's feet or out the back door at night and I only exit out the door that I came in. I also pass the salt and pepper together. I cross my fingers when passing a grave yard or mausoleum.

I always start counting as soon as I open the fridge door, I have to be done within 30 second, no idea why.

I do throw salt over my shoulder when I spill it and I think it's best to pull over when a woman calls you a ***** for not letting her walk in front of you
