how do I hook up a wi-fi antenna?

Im online looking at antenna's to buy for my laptop but I see antennas that say there compatible with my router,but the pictures I see to the antennas have a pic of RP-SMA connector but my router doesn't have that hook up and neither dose my laptop..how do I find this hook up...help me plz

thanks balmay22...they dont have removeable antenna's and i really need a wireless antenna for my connection.

    You dont. Your laptop wont have one. Your router most likely doesnt have detachable antennas either.

    go buy satellite dish put it on the roof and there you go
