Unlocking 703sh (locked to vodafone)?
Hey everyone, I just bought a 703sh very cheap, the reason why it was low is because it is locked to vodafone UK. I know it is fairly easy to unlock by code or using cables/software etc. for this certain phone
To save money though, I want to unlock it by code. Apparently you need to submit your IMEI number first, as each unlock code is different for each phone and you need that number to find out the unlock code.
I'm thinking this is pritty much the phone's serial number. I am assuming you could find that out if you have ANY sim card in it. But, my question is, do you have to have a valid vodafone UK sim card to find the phone's IMIE number, or just any sim in the phone?
i havent gotten the phone yet, so I'm not sure of all this, any help would be good just in case I have to order a voda UK sim or something.

Every phone has a little sticker inside the battery compartment. If you open the back cover, take out the battery you will find it.Written there the IMEI number.Or you can easily find its IMEI by typing *#06# oven if there isnt any simcard inside.
I cant talk about the unlocking matter since it is too techy to do yourself.I think it would be less expensive to buy a code than buy cable and software thing.
