Anyone remember this kids book?
I read a book when I was a little kid (70's)...it was about a little girl who lives by the ocean. For some reason she wishes her family would disappear, and when she wakes up in the morning, they're gone. The only other thing I remember is that she has to eat seaweed.

Do you remember if the girl in the story was Native American? If she was then it is definitely Island of the Blue Dolphins.

i understand a french e book like this i've got self assurance something like "dragobert" or "dragobert le dragon vert". That e book got here out before the 90s i've got self assurance. something like the define you only gave.
