Not much else to add. The vehicle is a 2004 Kia Sedona, and I am trying to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on Bank A and do not know the location of the part. No one could tell me at the auto store, so I am trying to get help here. Thank you ahead of time.

KIA used a 3.5 L Mitsubishi designed engine with dual cam on each Bank. The sensor is located right under the very front camshaft (closest to radiator). To reach the sensor you will have to remove parts as you would do timing belt replacement (you don't have to remove the timing belt). Its not an easy job unless you have done timing belts in the past.

according to hazard what you recommend on your 2006 Kia Sorento is the helpful Crankshaft Valve. It placed on the cylinder head and related to the air intake hose, small hose with black colour with oneway valve interior from engine to the intake. A stall could reason with the aid of blocked PCV, recommend the tension with the aid of warmth and oil interior the engine is purely too intense, those situation could make engine too warm additionally blown the crankshaft seal that made with the aid of rubber. this could happen with the aid of previous due oil exchange and or frequently tension in dusty section with oil exchange era persist with the conventional way. Please do clean the valve sink in petrol and blow an air to scrub the blocked airborne dirt and mud. there is crankshaft and camshaft on the engine, you likely if no longer the PCV or the camshaft place sensor, based on the engine is distributorless. The fail of crankshaft sensor recommend the engine can no longer be certain the suitable ignition timing and administration the valve to open and close.

The CMP (cam position sensor) should be located on the block near the camshaft. it may be difficult to get to.
