As you can tell by my pic, I'm a Chelsea fan, and I think that Arsenal aren't a sinking ship. Arsenal are a boat that's about to spring a leak or two. The transfer policy needs to be ore aggressive, experienced players are badly needed, as are workman like players, i.e. not injury prone, not easily intimidated, Tevez-eqsue players. The cheapest player of that mold is Ivica Olic, Arsenal should sign him.

2 years is too long. 2 years more will mean 7 trophyless seasons, a horrible milestone for a club of Arsenal's stature.

I think Liverpool are the sinking ship from the big 4, and Man City are the up and comers.

    far from it.

of all the clubs in England, I have to be honest and say Arsene Wenger is the most ambitious in that

if he achieves his objective - we could be looknig at the next best thing to Pep Guardiola's Barcelona.

He's finding out and fast - that its not that easy, what you 'desire' and what you 'realisticaly must do to achieve' are two different things....but there is nothing wrong with what you desire, especialy if you have a dream and you will stop at nothing to achieve it.

He simply wants to emulate what he achieved in 2003/04 - all over again, with fresh blood - a nu gen Arsenal side.

EXIT: Edu, Reyes, Viera, Henry, Pires, Ljundberg etc

ENTER: Nasri, Song, Fabregas, Van Persie, Arshavin, Wallcott....

    btw i don't rate DIABY.

he had Wallcott in open play - free , from the Barca defence (2nd leg tie...) what did he do ??

well if you have the highlights you can see for yourself.

Arsenal could have quite possibly gone 2-0 up at the nou camp had Diaby been good enough to play the ball to Theo - he didn't, i think he squared it somebody else out on the left, and the attack was broken down swiftly as it was started.

2-0 would have put pressure on Barca, they would ahve still scored goals but at least you had 2 against them....nm , we could look back at many United's past QF and SF's mishaps when they got knocked out of the UCL and rewind tapes and point out 'poor play' , but its not going to change anything lol

    history has been written.

we won it 5ive times - 2 more than United and a lot bloody more than the rest of you ! ^_^

    all the best

No, not quite a sinking ship, but five years without a significant win is not real flash. All things considered, it a pretty poor return for your investment.

Time for a change at the helm, then perhaps Arsenal might return to the glorious status it used to enjoy a few decades ago.

We have less debt than Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd, we spend less, we make more and we are still finishing 3rd and doing as well as we can in the champions league.

In this day and age i'm happy to be in control of our debt and maybe not buying all the big names but still compteting. It will mean so much to win a trophy knowing we haven't bought it.

Look how much Liverpool spent and loo where they are....they are in their 4th year without a trophy....and everyone slags us off for it
