do u think..maybe...its possible that the BP oil spill was a set up to show us americans why we shouldnt drill?

It looks like Sarah Palin is right on this issue. There is no reason BP should not have been able to drill closer to shore. That would have made it a lot easier to take care of the problem. Look at the mess now! It makes a lot more sense to drill in ANWR. The oil wells there attract wildlife.

The truth is, every single one of those offshore oil rigs is a prime terrorist target. So security is far from lax on any of them or the vessels that travel to and from them. I know that the environmentalists are having a field day with this disaster though. Environmentalists would never resort to that since it negates everything they stand for. A terrorist plot is not likely and our government wouldn't gain anything by doing this. So that doesn't really leave anyone on which to pin the blame. Plus they said it was accidental and their proof has been verified.

It seems a bit unfair to drill Iraqs oil though

if you arent going to drill your own because its icky

I mean i think being Iraqi oil is much more dangerous

it gets your house bombed by a precision missile

i think it was an act of terrorism , it was the only oil well in the gulf with the safeties turned off !
