What cupcake flavor should I go with?

My birthday is 2 weeks from Sunday and I might bake a giant cupcake instead of ordering or baking a cake. I'm not sure if I want it to be chocolate or red velvet. What do you think?

Update:

The cupcake is baked in a special pan from Williams-Sonoma and flavor packets are sold for this pan because they're the only ones that make enough batter.

Red velvet can be made with vanilla too.

red velvet technically is chocolate, so i say red velvet

Red velvet sounds delicious with creamy cream cheese frosting. Since the frosting is traditionally white you can change the color and make it colorful or keep it white and add a bunch of colorful decorations. Red velvet sounds like a great birthday cake.

Red Velvet is pretty and tastes ok but if you want more flavor...go with chocolate and add a little coffee to deepen the flavor.

I am confused. Is this a trick question to garner points?

You said "..I might bake a giant cupcake " ... "instead of ordering or baking " ..Which is the road you are traveling, ordering or baking?

Think about a layer of each, and you can have the best of both worlds. If it is your birthday, have a Very Happy BD.
