Why don't shy guys ask girls they like out?
I've known a shy guy for a few years now... We never used to talk much but now we do.
Anyway... He's never bought me a present EVER.. and suddenly this year I get a present, and a card.
Since our sisters are friends...my sis said...whenever she mentions my name, he gets all ' interested' in the conversation they are having
His dad told him, that me and him would make a cute couple... then he went extremely quiet. (don't know what that means lol)
For my birthday, he specifically went on a shopping day with my sis and his sis to get it. And drilled my sister with questions about what i like etc.. and he told her i'm the first girl he's ever had to shop for other than his sister.
And when we talk,e tc.. he asks a lot of questions and is very keen on the conversation.. and goes a little red sometimes. Also...since he knew my ex from ages ago. He keeps asking me if i've 'seen' my ex lately... and just randomly bringing it up..

He obviously likes you a lot, but shy guys just get extremely nervous. It sounds weird but when I was younger I would get asked out a lot but always reject people because the thought of a relationship was just too much for me to handle. He's insecure on your feelings for him, but if you like him back just make a move because shy guys enjoy watching from afar, but if things don't happen, they may lose interest after a while!

You should start talking to her. I know it's hard at first but you need to get to know her before you ask her out. Then ask her to go to a basketball game or something school related and tell her that she can bring a friend. Then sit next to her and talk to her and get to know her more. Then at the end of the night tell her friend that you really like the shy girl. Trust me her friend WILL tell her that you like her. Then you can start maybe eating lunch with them or something but don't totally ignore your friends. Then eventually you can ask her out =]

Because rejection is scary. And we feel like we are just going to seem like idiots and do or say something stupid. Then scare the girl away. Then she tells her friends and before you know it everybody else knows about it.

normally guys r intimidated by cute girls they dont think they have a chance with if you like him then ask him for drinks one night or coffee he'll come around ull see.
