Since when were watering cans so expensive?

I paid $4 for mine at the local Dollar General store. Its bright green 2 gallon, not the best in the world, but does the trick for me.

Dramm watering cans have always been expensive, but probably worth it in certain circumstances. However, there are perfectly suitable plain, green plastic 2 gallon watering cans available for under $10. Try another Big Box store or a local nursery or go online.
