Do you believe that ghost moves things?
I was, let me say, an event manager, for that particular function held in a well-known 5 star hotel. So, of course, I had to meet and discuss arrangements with the officer in charge weeks before the occasion.
On the day of event, I came earlier. I noticed that the plants were a bit dull, so I said to the banquet, its just like a funeral here, fresh plants would be better. So they changed them.
The function was a success. Everybody was happy and joyful. Then, it was time to go and pack things up again. My friend Eda helped me up. As she did so, I remember she said, Na, I put your specs in here okay..pointing at the laptop brief. So off we go. As I was about to drive, I could not find the specs. I said, I thought you said you put it in here Ed? She rummaged around for it, but to no avail. We ran up again to the function room and search for it, should it dropped off on the floor. None. We looked in the car too. None.
I sent her home with me "blindly" driving in the dark. As I reached home, I searched for the disappearing spectacles in the car again, with lights on of course. I was not going to be satisfied. As I entered the living room, I started banging all my bags upside down on the floor. Picking all things one by one, inspecting,but the spec was not in sight. So I re-packed things back into the bags. I went to bed early that night after having quick shower.
Guess what, the next morning as I walked passed in the living room, from the kitchen for some coffee, I saw something on the coffee table. The spectacle!! I could not believe. I asked everyone who did that? Who put it on the table? No one knew.
Then I remember. The officer in charge for the function room ever reluctantly refused to go to the function rooms for me to inspect during our meeting before hand. It was late in the evening and it s raining. Because we have been friends for a long time, she said over there was a bit eerie especially when no one is using them. They hardly go around there. After all, we had been using them before too. So I trusted her. THEN I REMEMBER WHAT I SAID ABOUT THE PLANTS!! DO YOU BELIEVE GHOST MOVES THINGS???
I am actually quite logic myself to believe that the specs would magically appeared on the coffee table that Sunday morning. I must say, that I am an early riser eventho I sleep late. That morning, as usual, I was the first to get up from bed and make coffee.
That incident happened last October (2009) and I still asked around to every soul in the house, as to whether they saw the specs on the floor, where I inspected it, the other night, then put it on the coffee table. Who knows, one might went down that night? But, none of them admitted. They were not even interested as to why I was so curious? I even made them sware..goshhh...
I told a friend about it, but he too made a joke out of it, and said, the thing must have made u "blinded". But, then, how on earth that the specs be on the table?
Nowwww...that really make my logic pulse pounding...
For the last 6 months, I would very much like to think that someone in the house, might found my specs that night, but forget. That make my logic sense, clear. However, there were only 3 of them, and they are not the kind of people who are forgetful or deceitful, eventho they might not be observant especially when comes to tidying things up.
On the other hand, I think, if that *thing* did so, hopefully it was a friendly gesture?? I did not mentioned earlier, how I kinda sarcastically commented about the *funeral* plants, not once, but more than three times, to the hotel assistants. I even argued when they refused at first to make amend. I hate people who does not take my plan or function, seriously, or simply take me for granted. Especially when I am paid to be responsible for it.
I also hate to think that it followed me home? duhhhh...

hun, the spirit world is real as you or i am and yes they can and will move things around if they are up to it. as for your specs, there i just don,t know. i don,t know if a spirit can travel other then their place so you,d have to ask an expert on the paranormal about that one.

I am not sure ghosts can move thing or not. I do believe in ghosts as I have seen a few. I have not yet had one move things or turn lights on and off at least not to my knowledge. I have had batteries drained of their energy on investigations but this is due to the energy of the spirit draining them. What I do know is that us humans do at times forget where we put things and in a busy situation like you described with lots of people working and going in and out it is more likely you or someone you know moved these things and just don't remember. I do understand that most people ask questions here wanting affirmations that they have paranormal activity but I just state what I know. Here is what I suggest if you suspect that area of being haunted then do an investigation there and see.

I doubt the people who've seen ghosts such as Michael Jackson, why would he want to go to someone he's never even met? A family member, a close friend, or someone who lives in a house who someone could have died near or spirit entities may have held onto, I believe in those. We have the same name! Except yours is spelled Jo-anne, sorry I really had to point that out

I actually had that happen to me. A ghost moved my sneakers out of my bed room to the front door of my home. I am an extremely light sleeper so if someone did it I would have wakened. The only other people in the house were my two daughters and they were sleeping. They were asked and said they did not move them.

Idk how it happened in this case but I do know that spirits can get into people and have them do things without realizing it. One time a spirit told me to leave a letter /message on a certain table in church.I said no...I can't do that. So I put it in the pew.The next day it was on that table.I asked how it got there.The caretaker said he did it.But...he didn't know that's where the spirit said to put it. Normally he would have given it to the priest or thrown it away. I believe spirits can "possess"people for short periods of time to make them do something for them.

No.
1) I've never seen anything move that couldn't be explained by known, natural forces.
2) I've never heard of anyone making an observation or recording of such a thing that could stand up the the standards of scientific scrutiny - all accounts I've ever heard of such things are anecdotal and never independently verifiable or repeatable.

I think you are inventing something pretty much out of possible or even probable.
If the location had lots of ghost activity and there were more possible of this being a maybe thing.
It is more likely that your glasses fell out of your bags when you returned home.

Some spirits like to touch a lot and some like to move things...
I had one spirit that touch me a lot in a nice way, and I would see her many times, and she did move things too. One night my blanket was being slide of me slowly and gently. I woke up to see her for the first time, she was surprised that I could see her. The next few days later she came back, but I didn't wake up this time. She moved my extra pillow from my side and the flash light that was under the pillow and she put them both in the same position on my feet at the end of the bed, and she took my top blanket off and rolled it up in a tight ball and put it on the floor at the foot of my bed that I would see it when I saw the pillow on my feet with the flash light under it. She did this to let me know days before when I woke up to see her at the foot of my bed, that I wasn't dreaming. Spirits, ghost move things to let us know they are there, seeking attention.
I had another one wake me up three times as it moved something or make noise to wake me to get my attention, by all three times I went back to sleep because I was to tired to communicate. It first move many small items around on the shelf, and then moved either my glass table or the bowl on the glass table, I heard the bowl on the glass table being moved, and the third time I woke up to my phone making static nosies.

The thing is, all we get are stories and anecdotes here. There is no possible way that we can validate what you tell us. We only have your say so and frankly it is worthless. Is there no other explanation that does not need a ghost? Also the fact that there is no evidence for the existence ghosts. Blind belief is not my nature, but others here will gladly speculate.

Lana,in one word,yes,I do.They are capable of doing other things too.Sometimes spirits will move things around just to grab our attention and make us aware of their presence.I would say that first you always have to look for rational logical explanations before you jump to any conclusions.
