Getting a part time job................?
I had a job interview at Bath and Body Works last week on thursday. The manager said she'd call back today by six pm IF i got the job. My parents are telling me i should call her today and thank her and tell her im excited for the opportunity. I think thats a little desperate. What do you think?

I would call her. It will show her you are determined to go after you want. It isn't desperate...it would only be desperate if you called every day. Just calling once will demonstrate you are taking the job seriously. I hope you get it!

Hard choice :\ In a way I can see what they mean by it looking desperate but then again it will show that you are keen for the job. If I was you then I would'nt call them up - if you don't get the job then i would write them a letter or something saying thanks anyway blah blah blah etc. this way they should hopefully re-consider or atleast keep you on file
But at the end of the day parents are always right lol, sorry i'm not much help :P
