How would you dress to attend a college presentation at the Marriott?

I'm going to a presentation on Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn, and Stanford at the Marriott in Chicago. I was wondering if this was formal or not.

Dress as though are you going in for a job interview. Suit would be ideal, but smart casual, would be fine too.

Important to ask your questions since you will be remembered for that. Plus, it's good practice to speak up!

Recruiters are unlikely going to remember you from all the other participants during these road shows, but it's about practicing to present yourself! Good luck!

I would absolutely dress to impress. Nice blouse and slacks and some dressy shoes with a small heel. For colleges to go out of the way and host a presentation at the Marriott shows they are willing to impress you so it would only be right to offer the same in return. Don't go over board with some flashy dress, it is not a prom. Hope that helps. Good

    Luck :)

More info is needed to give an accurate answer. What is this presentation for? Recruitment, panel discussion, accomplishments?

Better to dress than dress down. Go semi-formal. No cocktail dresses. Even well-fitted jeans with a blazer and heals would be fine. Or a skirt with kitten heals. Not to formal, not to relaxed. NO shorts, NO flip-flops, NO t-shirts.
