Quincy Market Fanueil Hall is a must see.
For Romantic Views try the Top of the Hub
Also depending on when you arrive consider taking the Harbor Express (a boat) across the Harbor it is a great introduction to the city. Or you could do a dinner cruise aboard the Odyssey in the Harbor.

Sorry but 4 days is not enough for Boston.
I lived there for three years and still didn't get to see everything.
You have old north church, the commons, lexington, concord, walden pond.
You have china town, fanuel hall, fenway park, museums, theatres, restaurants.
The arboretum just trees you say oh no more than trees.
schools harvard, mit, tufts, and many more.
Cambridge, charles river, trolleys, els, subway.
