Why is it that when I see in my Answers! Activity list "Answer deleted by Question deletion" ...?

Why is there a line I can click to "View Question..." which invariably only tells me that the question was deleted?

Is there some (hopefully humorous) reason why that link is even there?

Best answers will be funny. Answers that give the real reason probably aren't.

Update:

I know all that. I wanted funny. Lemme give you some hints.... black holes, aliens, the Grassy Knoll, the Illuminati.....

It's actually a glitch. How surprising is that. It actually gives us an extra two points at the moment but Yahoo are working on it.

That link is only 'deleted' to us. The message is actually for the STAFF -- and to staff, it is not a deleted question, just flagged (or notated) as being deleted. So they can still see it, but we can't. We aren't even supposed to be GETTING this message (or the extra 2 points), as this is a 'behind the scenes, staff only' message. But they goofed (again) and now post it to US -- and give us 2 extra bonus points for their mistake. Eventually, they'll figure it out and stop it again.

It was the question that was deleted. You get 2 points. A lot more people seem to be deleting their questions after posting them nowadays. Whether it is just them changing their minds or it was a TOS violation, we don't know.

I know what you mean. It says view question, but when you click on it it says question deleted, so unless you have a good memory you don't know what the question was.

Their questions have been deleted as a results of violating the regulations or they have been pronounced. you nonetheless get 2 factors (or 4 on the 2nd) for answering. The questions you deleted are nonetheless on your questions tab yet greyed out. You did not get a contravention for them - you chosen to delete them. consumers who get violated do not choose for to delete them so the questions do not proceed to be.
