Impeachment is the charging of a public official with a crime. Only Andrew JOHNSON and Bill Clinton have been impeached as Presidents; both were tried, neither were found guilty, and both remained President. The individual who brought up Nixon was mistaken; Nixon simply resigned rather than face the embarrassment of a probable impeachment.
For what high crime or misdemeanor do you expect President Obama to be impeached?

Andrew Jackson was never impeached. Andrew Johnson, however, was impeached with an unsuccessful attempt at removal from office. A common mistake in names. However, you need to be more careful when making statements such as this.

Well, Jackson was never impeached... and plus the Democratic party of that time was very different compared to the Democratic party of today.

In the entire history of the nation, there have only been two times that high ranking administration officials have been convicted of plotting and committing felony crimes from inside the Oval Office – Reagan and Bush the Lesser.

Andrew Jackson was never impeached. You may want to restudy basic US history.
The person you may be referring to is Andrew *Johnson* who was not convicted (by the Republicans) because of Senator Edmund Ross, along with a handful of other Republican senators who didn't feel that following party lines for the sake of party lines was the best way to go.
