Is this correct Tagalog?

I got "Mabait na babae ba siya?". Is this correct? Or the only correct form should be "Mabait ba siyang babae?".

Actually, I don't get the word order in the second one. Where did the linker "na" go to? I thought the attributive construction ("mabait na babae") was regarded as the first full word in this sentence.

Is the first sentence correct at all? Can it be used?

Thanks.

"Mabait na babae ba siya" is correct, but I'd personally prefer "Mabait ba siya na babae". It's common for the linker "na" to be attached as "ng" to the word preceding it if the said word begins with a vowel (i.e "Aso na kumakagat" = "Asong kumakagat" = "Dog that bites"). For some reason, you don't use the "na" → "ng" feature with personal pronouns such as "ikaw", "ako", "siya", "tayo", etc. You might hear words like "siyang" and "tayong" in casual speech, but the "ng" is usually meant to shorten "yung" or "ang", not "na".
