my pc sent an email-is this a virus?

I found out that my pc sent an email on its own to some of my contacts. The emails title was "+Hi+" and it was a link to a viagra site

could this be some sort of virus?

    It's very likely you have some type of malware. Your computer doesn't send out it's own messages normally, does it?

    yeah could be, Run a virus scan if nothing turns up download malwarebytes and if that don't find it theres no virus
