How can I Lucid Dream?

I really want to get better at lucid dreaming. I have done it once, but cannot seem to control it. The main problem is that it never occurs to me to control my dreams while I am dreaming. I also forget to try and stay lucid while i dream.

My dream sweeps me down a current and I just go with the flow. How can I get better? Any websites?

Yes, you can. I think that's called DILD. But i have never gotten close to DILDing

There is a great guide here:

    http://www.ld4all.com/guide.html

You should try to FILD, or C-WILD. it works better than WILD i think. search FILD on the internet you can't find it in this guide i dont think. Set an alarm to 5 hours after you sleep and try one of those techniques. It really works. Also ignore the numbness in your body and the sounds you hear in your ears. (It means you're falling asleep. otherwise known as Sleep Paralysis)

Yes, I am learning how to lucid dream and i actually had my first one 3 nights ago. You can do it it took me 3 months.

C-WILD guide. Wake up 5-6 hours after you sleep. Lay down on your back and relax. Count to 100 like this. 1 i am dreaming. 2 i am dreaming. 3 i am dreaming. once you get to 100 sit up in your bed. Plug your nose. and try to breath through it. if it works your in a lucid dream. if not then try to 120. If it doesnt work this time. try again another night and just go back to sleep

hi. i was also interested in lucid dreaming an year ago but i gave it up because it was hard ofr me to control it and also i had some issues of concentrating of my own. i found that it is easier to have a lucid dream if you get into a calm state of mind and try to imagine the beginning of your dream before acutally falling asleep. but keep in mind you are awake and try to acknowledge the fact that you are dreaming. you can easily lose concentration. for example, you know that in a regular dream you feel its like real life, like if you dream a floating dog, it will seem absolutely normal to you, but you must try to fall asleep with the next thing in mind: "i am having a lucid dream, i know i am sleeping and i have total control over my dream". i usually have a small period of time in which i have a lucid dream, then i lose everything. plus i warn you that you will not feel rested the next day.

its a great experience, i know, but tiresome to do it too often.
