Biden's mouth sometimes gets him into trouble, but he is a well-read, well-educated and generally knowledgeable man when it comes to a number of topics. You can acknowledge that whether you agree with his politics or not.

Palin's mouth gets her into trouble precisely because she is not well-read, does not seem to be well-educated, and generally seems like she doesn't know what she's talking about when it comes to most topics. She specializes in sloganeering. That is to say, she's a soundbyte queen.

I don't think Joe's anywhere near a "doofus." Palin would know everything about "doofus," and she'd probably claim she can see "doofus" from her back yard.

She is a lot smarter than our current President is and a lot smarter than Joe Biden is. Sara Palin has run a state government and just because at one time was a cheerleader does not mean she is stupid.

The difference between the two VP and VP candidate is the man they serve under. McCain has one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel while Obama has good health and decades younger to his advantage.
