Please realize that those schools that offer 'game design' are usually pretty hokey :) The school that you'd mentioned seems like one of those private overpriced for-profit schools especially since the url (uniform resource locater) ends in ".com" which usually means 'commercial' or a for-profit institution.

In order to Possibly get a job in the field, one may need a bachelor's/four-year or even master's degree in computer software engineering or computer programming and there are still no guarantees in getting such a job: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search 'computer software engineers and computer programmers' (usually need calculus, too) or such.

With schooling, please steer clear of those online, for-profit schools (though may have 'brick and mortar' campus and may be 'accredited') such as penn foster, ashworth, devry, ITT tech, argosy, sanford brown, university of phoenix, kaplan, high tech, walden, colorado tech, remington and others as they are merely out to 'make a profit' (and course credits may NOT transfer to other schools). This consumer site has many posts by former students about those online, for-profit schools, and please heed the students' warnings: http://www.ripoffreport.com/ and can search.

Are you able to relocate for school or are you looking for something local or are you looking for online courses? Is game design what you absolutely want to do or are you interested in a sub-field such as texture creator, animator, level designer, etc.? I got some good help with these same questions on www.onlinedegreehelp.net and paired up with a few different colleges which helped me make my final decision. Good luck to you in your future career and degree!
