Time to open your wallet and take the poor thing to a qualified vet. The dog is suffering and there are meds out there that could possibly her.
First thing to look at is her food. You would be surprised how many dogs suffer from allergies from eating the wrong food, especially cheap supermarket bought dog food loaded with corn.

Take her to the vet, obviously!
Have an allergy panel test done. It will provide you with all the things she is allergic to. Then, simply avoid those things. Most common are grass, trees, pollen, ragweed, goldenrod, then foods such as corn, wheat, beef, soy, dairy, chicken.
In the meantime, take the first posters, advice and get her a temporary allergy shot to relieve her grief.
Benadryl, in proper dosage, can also help.
Hope she feels better soon.

if your dog has bad allergies, take her to the vet. The vet will probably give the dog a cortizone(sp) shot or something like that--- to help with the allergy

Flea allergies can cause this too. My mother's indoor dog suffered from this. He only went out to go to the bathroom so it was hard to imagine him with fleas. As it turned out it only takes one flea to cause a severe reaction. The vet is going to be your best friend if it is a flea allergy. Good Luck!

Is your dog an outside only dog? and/or does she lick herself after being outside? possibly allergies to grass, best bet is to talk to your vet and see what they can give you.
