How do I output video from my macbook to my TV?
I just received a couple of cables from Amazon: one is a Mini Displayport to female HDMI, and the other is a male HDMI to that yellow video connector on all TVs. I've hooked everything up, but I don't know where to go from here. Is there a key combination I need to put in or a display setting I need to change? I've already tried clicking "detect displays" in System Preferences, but that didn't work. Please help! Thanks.

should be easy... you may have to turn tv on first or have it off first - not sure.
