I hear voices while Im sleeping, they tell me to wake up.?

When Im in a deep sleep, you can open the door, and I will wake up. That's how my parents have always woke me up. Lately, when Im sleeping, I will hear "Wake up!" or my name being called, its usually a man; and it sounds no where near my fathers voice. It happens around 3am-5am...and it really bothers me, because it jumps me awake and I look around: My doors always shut and no one is in there...

Update:

I do belive in the parnoirmal, and I do pray(well more like surrounding my self in white light) before I go to bed.

Hearing voices is also a sign of a Mental Health disorder, such as accompanies, Bipolar Disorder often, and, Schizophrenia as well, or, a condition that is a combination called: Schizoaffective Disorder. However, without other symptoms of Mental Illness, the other comments are all interesting. I wouldn't wish a Mental Health issue on anyone, but it might be important to note that this might be a symptom in 'some cases' of the onset of Mental Illness, and, that even if it is, this is treatable, and, very well understood. Do not be so afraid you don't discuss it, they can help!

These are typical examples of lucid dreaming. It is falsely awakening. You are dreaming and able to see & hear things of a dream like nature (typically sounds, voices, knocking, crashes), but at the same time you dream of awakening - aware of your surroundings, dreaming of getting up, walking around, looking around your room and so on.

There are five stages. During the first stage you can be awakened easily. You quickly begin to move through stage 2-3 and 4. By stage 3-4 you are in a deep sleep. You cannot be easily awakened at this point. There is little muscle activity. The fifth stage (REM) is when most dreaming takes place. You cannot be awakened so easily as your body (including voice) are in a state of sleep paralysis.

that happened to me a couple times. It was a whisper a loud whisper saying "Stephanie!" it scared me sh!tless. I never told anymore because it happened only a couple times. I also heard my dad screaming and slamming a door once. I was half awake at the time but I was awake and not dreaming. He doesn't even live in our house anymore. I woke up immediately. That was the scariest morning of my life. You might want to see a doc if it's really bothering you.

I have the same problem it started when I was 3 im 15 now and I see ghosts. Most people think im crazy but I know there real. if you dont want anything to do with them try putting garlic at your window and door. If not see if you can talk back to it. It could be a sign.

Maybe it's God checking in on you. Try saying a prayer before bed. Tell him how your day went, what you need and ask for forgivness of your sins. You will sleep like a baby.

I would say it is maybe a ghost, maybe a person who used to live there maybe died and spirit still remainds there. but ofcorse many people don't believe in the paranormal.

it might be a wondering spirit with unfinished business and it needs your help since you are the only one that can hear him. tell him to leave you alone and it might work.
