Deep Fried Twinkie or Deep Fried Pepsi?
I'm opening a fry truck and will be at an event for Canada Day. In Canada, nothing deep fried has really taken here (other than fries) and I"m hoping to introduce something to our special events menu. I haven't had either till today we experimented with Twinkies. I'm looking for personal opinions on what's better. I've mentioned the ideas to a few ppl and the pepsi is more of a shocker, like a "Deep fried what?!?!" and ppl have heard of deep fried twinkies but no one has really tried it. So any positive opinion would be great. This is only for special events and will NOT be available on a daily basis.
No no, the deep fried pepsi is a batter made with pepsi syrop instead of water so it looks like a little donut with a pepsi taste...

Twinkies. Though you could try pepsi too, freeze it hard. Then run it through the ice shaving gizmo, form into balls & freeze it hard, then may be you do what you do to make deep fried Ice cream, just make it quick, just a quick dip in boiling hot oil. Sort of the way you would make deep fried sorbet. Well, crazier things have been done in the name of "innovative" & "cutting edge" & "over the top" cooking.
P.S. Be sure to wear protective gear when trying the fried pepsi, you don't want to risk getting your face splattered with hot oil just in case you are a little slow.
