Do I have to take all 7 inactive birth control pills or can I start new pack earlier?
I was prescribed Yaz Generic and I know the non-generic has only 4 inactive pills. So if I get my period on day 4 or 5, can I start new pack? in the brochure it mentions taking the pill within 24 hrs of your period, but don't know if this only applies to the first pack.

Some girls continue to take the active pills for a few months in a row so they only get 3 or 4 periods a year. I don't agree with that practise unless your doctor suggests it. A build up of fluid and tissue in your uterus can cause serious health issues.
The 24 hour thing in the brochure only applies to the very first pill you take for the very first time. And it actually doesn't matter when you start... you can take your very first pill whenever... it just causes some cycle confusion, and you won't know when to expect your period, or you might get spotting...
If you are on your period now, I think you can go ahead and start the pack.
I hope that helps.

I don't think you are suppose to take the active pills during the inactive pills because that can mess up your cycle. The only thing you can do which I do is either take it to get use to taking them everyday, plus they contain iron or you can not take any until those inactive days are over and start the new pack.

there are various categories of start administration pills regularly the inactive pills are purely a pill to take so which you don't get off development and forget approximately to take it on energetic pill nighttime. i'm on start administration and by no skill take any of the inactive pills as a number of them are basically sugar pills so which you have a pill relies upon on style even though it incredibly is secure to during inactive pills.

Your body needs the seven-day break in order to function properly while taking birth control. The "inactive" pills are there primarily as a placeholder, to make sure you don't lose track of the days, and so you don't lost the "habit." Take them.

Take all the pills. There's a reason that the inactive ones are there - don't try to second-guess it.

Take all the pills. What is it going to hurt. it is mainly there to remind us to continue and get used to take those pills.
